California Tech Start-Up Chooses Pittsburgh As East Coast Base

BloomBoard, a Palo Alto-based education tech start-up, is expanding nationwide and using Pittsburgh as its East Coast base. The company provides teachers and school administrators with a streamlined way of collecting data for teacher evaluations and is already serving 120,00 teachers in 350 school districts nationwide. Tony Bellino, director of east coast operations for BloomBoard, talks about the company’s expansion and why Pittsburgh was chosen as the location to open up an East Coast office.
