Where’s your NEXT job in Pittsburgh? Here’s the latest on companies who are hiring.
Silicon Valley startup BloomBoard is opening an office in Pittsburgh and is planning to hire 20-30 people locally.
Launched in 2010, BloomBoard creates software tools for school districts and teachers that support differentiated learning and instruction in the classroom. Differentiated learning encourages teachers to take the different needs of each student into account, a process that can be difficult for teachers and districts to track.
To address this, BloomBoard offers a platform that optimizes learning and observes and tracks performance in keeping with federal mandates. The new office will be located on Walnut Street in Shadyside. The company is hiring 20-30 over the next year including front and back-end managers and account managers.
